Floralax

The combination of aloe, a natural laxative, with psyllium and prune powder, which are rich in fibers, helps
with digestion and supports overall gut health.
• ALOE VERA - Taken internally, aloe vera soothes stomach irritations such as gastritis, hyperacidity, and
stomach ulcers. It aids in healing, has a laxative property, and is considered a mucopolysaccharide.
These substances form highly viscous solutions that may act as intercellular lubricants and prebiotics,
feeding good intestinal bacteria.
• PSYLLIUM – A soluble fiber, psyllium absorbs water and swells, causing a feeling of fullness in
the bowel, which stimulates evacuation. It cleans, lubricates, and heals the intestine and colon by
strengthening the tissues and restoring tone.
• PRUNE POWDER – A stimulant-type laxative which increases peristaltic contractions to produce an
evacuation.
Compared to other laxative-type products, Floralax leverages three natural ingredients that act
synergistically with one another for greater efficacy. Each component works through a different mechanism,
allowing the product to be effective at low dosages.
Many consumers may have difficulties swallowing a large glass of dissolved Metamucil, and psyllium
capsules, if not properly swallowed or taken with insufficient water, can cause blockages and worsen
constipation.
Floralax, on the other hand, is very safe and can be used daily if needed, with no risk of dependency.
To ensure complete swallowing, the capsule(s) should be taken with ample water (at least 8 oz is
recommended).
Recommended Usage
We recommend taking 1 to 2 capsules at bedtime, 2 to 3 times a week.
Remember to allow 6-12 hours for the laxative effect to occur and ensure to drink plenty of water.
